Young at Heart

Young at Heart is the senior adult ministry of Broadway Baptist Church that includes all adults age 50+ who want to enjoy great fellowship through church activities. The group plans day trips and participates with Lexington Community Seniors. If you'd like to join the Young at Heart email list, please contact David Dale, Minister of Music & Senior Adults.

  • Thursday, April 10 - Trip to Derby Dinner Playhouse to see Singin' in the Rain - meet at 10 am $69
  • Thursday, April 17 - Senior Adult Luncheon in the fellowship hall at 11:30 am with the Overtones $20
  • May 14-23 - Hawaii, visiting the islands of Kona and Kauai - $3,623 plus air
  • Friday, May 30 - Trip to Ricardo's and then watch The Wizard of Oz at the Woodford Theatre - meet at 4:30 pm $45
  • Thursday, June 12 - Trip to the Bread of Life Cafe - meet at 10 am $15
  • Thursday, July 10 - Trip to Mammy's for Dinner and then see the Stephen Foster Story - meet at 4:30 pm $39 (plus dinner)
  • July 11-19 - Grand Alaska Land Tour $3,495 plus air
  • September 4-13 - Senior Adult Trip to Colorado $3,195
